Yoga is one of the best kinds of exercises you can do for all aspects of your wellness: mind, body, and soul. And if you have gone to some yoga classes in the past, you may be getting into the swing of things. Perhaps you already understand the basic structure of a yoga class, and maybe you feel comfortable modifying poses to make them more comfortable for your body. If so, you may want to consider taking your first intermediate yoga class at the Decatur Wellness Collective. Whether you are relatively new to the practice or have been a yogi for years, you are going to love these classes. They take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The next class will be on Sunday, May 26. One class only costs $15, so be sure to check it out.
Now, check out some tips that will make your intermediate yoga class experience even more fun and enjoyable.
Bring Your Own Mat
While there is a chance you might be able to get a mat at the class, it’s generally more comfortable to bring your own. Then you can get used to the feel of being on your own mat. Don’t have one yet? Pick one up, so you can continue your practice at home.
Be Easy on Yourself
This will be a bit more difficult than your average beginner’s yoga class, but that doesn’t mean you have to be hard on yourself. If some of the poses are difficult for you to get into, remember that it’s all about intention. Your pose may not look like the instructors’, and that’s okay. Just be mindful and to do what feels right in your body.

Wear Comfortable Clothes
Remember, you aren’t going to class to impress anyone else – you’re going for you. Therefore, you are going to want to make sure your clothes are as comfortable as possible. This will make it easier for you to get your mind on the practice instead of what you look like. You might want to choose tighter fabric, but make sure it is light and breathable, so you don’t get too hot.
Make sure you can always get to class on time by purchasing a new vehicle from Bob Brady Buick GMC in Forsyth, Illinois. We’ll let you test-drive some of the best rides on the road, and you can decide which one you want to take home with you. Come on in today.
