Ingredients
- 12 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 tbsp parsley
- ¼ tsp oregano
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 16 ounces mozzarella cheese slices
- 8 ounces Italian sausage links
- 8 ounces lean ground beef
- 26 ounces pasta sauce
- 1 cup of water
Prep The Ingredients
Grab a deep 11”x7” or 13”x9” pan. Preheat the oven to 375˚ F. Brown the ground beef and break up into clumps in a large skillet. Drain the oil and set it aside.
In a saucepan, add Italian sausage with ½ a cup of water. Bring it to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes. Drain water and let sausages cool slightly. Slice into 1/8” or ¼” pieces and set aside.
Mix ricotta, parsley, oregano, and parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
Mix pasta sauce, water, and ground beef in a large bowl.
Build The Lasagna
Spread 1 ½ cups of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the pan. Lay three noodles to cover the sauce.
Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture over noodles. Add 1/3 of the mozzarella slices to cover the ricotta mixture. Place 1/3 of the sausage slices over the mozzarella. Spread 1/3 of the sauce mixture on top and repeat layers two more times. Top with the last three lasagna noodles and remaining sauce mixture. Top with extra mozzarella if desired.

Bake It Off
Cover the pan with greased aluminum foil to avoid sticking and place on a baking tray to bake for 55-60 minutes.
Remove foil and check that noodles are soft. If so, replace foil and let sit for 10 minutes. If not, return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
Slice lasagna into equal portions and set your table for a family-style meal. Let everyone pick their slice and enjoy!
