That’s where the Children’s Museum of Illinois comes in. This incredible museum is perfect for the little ones, and parents are going to love to see their kids learn, grow, and have a ton of fun while they’re there. Check out some of the programs you can find at this museum, and you’ll see why it’s such a hit with kids and adults alike.
Admission
The museum is open from Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday, it’s open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Members and children under 2 years of age get in for free, and adults and children 2 years of age and older pay $8 to get in. Active military and other groups may be able to get a reduced admission price of $4.
Birthday Party Bash
If your little one has a birthday coming up soon, you are probably trying to decide what you want to do to celebrate. Of course, there are quite a few options, but few are going to be as fun as a birthday party bash at the Children’s Museum of Illinois. One of the best parts is the fact that the museum does all the planning, decorating, and cleaning up for you, which means you don’t have to worry about it. Plus, it gives your child a chance to have a ton of fun at his or her birthday while still getting the chance to learn something new. There can’t be a better way to celebrate a birthday than that.
Summer Camp
It’s important that your child has something to do over the summer break. Otherwise, he or she may start to get bored, and that’s the last thing you want. Therefore, you should check out the different summer camp offerings at this children’s museum. Whether you want to sign up your pre-K student or have a child who is a bit older, you will find plenty of options. From making art to learning about literature, your child is going to learn a lot when he or she goes to summer camp at the museum.
